Designed for application before a suitable primer and paint system, it provides an additional layer of protection while maintaining the natural appearance of the treated surface.

The sealer helps limit water absorption through porous plaster, making it a useful part of a properly planned exterior wall-finishing system. When applied to a clean, dry and properly prepared surface, it helps prepare the wall for compatible subsequent coatings. A trial application is recommended to confirm the appearance, absorption and adhesion of the complete finishing system before full application.

Suitable for selected new construction and renovation projects, MasterShield WB is intended for builders, painting contractors and professionals looking to incorporate water-repellent surface treatment before painting. It can be considered for sound exterior cement-sand plaster and selected interior cement-plastered surfaces where the source of moisture has already been resolved.

For best results, ensure the plaster is fully cured, remove dust and loose material, and repair cracks or other defects before application.
